Reddit Raffler terms and conditions

Last updated: 2 October 2026. These terms apply to Reddit Raffler, offered by The Crimson Market. By using the app, you agree to these terms. You must be eligible to use Reddit and comply with its User Agreement, platform rules, community rules, and applicable law.

Reddit Raffler supports selecting winners from top-level comments on your own posts in an installed community. Managing raffles requires posts or all moderator permissions. Our website terms also apply when using The Crimson Market website.

Reddit is not responsible for any giveaways or raffles. Payments, gambling, restricted goods, and misleading subscription mechanics are prohibited.

Approval of the app does not make Reddit a sponsor of an organizer's activity. Reddit Raffler does not collect entry fees, hold prize funds, distribute prizes, or guarantee that an organizer will supply a prize. Do not claim Reddit sponsors or endorses your giveaway without its authorization.

• Ensure the activity is lawful and permitted in the community and all relevant locations.
• Publish eligibility, entry rules, timing, selection method, prize details, winner-contact arrangements, and the Reddit disclaimer on the source post before inviting entries.
• Disclose weighting, score filters, or manual choices. Do not describe those methods as equally random.
• Obtain any necessary permissions for participant information and use it only for authorized purposes.
• Check eligibility and results, handle disputes, deliver promised prizes, and meet applicable tax or reporting obligations.

Creating a raffle saves its configuration but does not publish your participation rules. The organizer must communicate those rules separately.

Draws depend on comments available through Reddit and the configured rules. Missing or ineligible comments may be excluded; scores and reply counts can change. Reddit Raffler is not an independently audited or certified drawing service.

The end time makes automatic drawing due, rather than enforcing an entry cutoff. Later comments may be included. The scheduler runs approximately every five minutes and may be delayed or fail. Manual draws can finish before their displayed end time.

Post-upvote requirements cannot verify individual votes, and notes are not automatically enforced. Some filters yield fewer winners than requested or none. Closed raffles cannot be edited or redrawn. All authorized community moderators can manage raffles; scheduled draws recheck the creator's permissions.

Review manual reply previews before authorizing publication. Replies are real Reddit comments; deleting a raffle does not retract them. External integrations, AI generation, and automatic completion replies are currently disabled.

Do not use the app for spam, harassment, fraud, vote manipulation, unauthorized data collection, or bypassing access controls. Do not misuse exported usernames. You retain your content rights and authorize processing needed to provide the features you request.

Report raffle content opens a modmail draft. Add the offending text and reason and send it to community moderators, who must review reports and can delete app raffle content. Use native Reddit Report controls for posts, comments, and replies. Contact the maintainer below for unresolved abuse or app issues.

Our Reddit Raffler privacy policy explains processing, retention, and requests for access, correction, or deletion. You can stop using the app at any time. Raffle deletion has the limitations described in that policy; contact support about retained information.

The app depends on Reddit and may change or become unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, it is provided as is and as available, without guarantees of uninterrupted service, accurate results, or a particular outcome. To that extent, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from unavailable data, failed draws, or unfulfilled prizes. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Access may be restricted to address misuse, maintain the service, or comply with law or Reddit requirements. Updated terms will be published with a revised date, with notice of material changes where required. Changes apply prospectively and do not remove accrued rights or data-deletion obligations.
