The only people who have problems with active moderation are the ones who didn't care about the server rules in the first place. Their previous solution was "We will just block anyone being toxic."

Honestly I don't even see why you're even bothering defending yourself to them. They're just salty someone else got the role over them. I bet their stance changes once they get those roles. None of them have solid arguments regarding why they have such a problem with you.
