Gift Gold is a closed-loop reward used for eligible experiences and products within The Crimson Market. It cannot be bought or sold for real money, redeemed for cash, or withdrawn.
The important rules
No cash redemption
Gift Gold cannot be sold back to TCM, exchanged for money, withdrawn, or transferred to PayPal, Stripe, a bank account, or a digital-asset wallet.
Platform use only
Gift Gold may only be used for eligible features and rewards that TCM specifically marks as accepting Gift Gold.
Not an investment
Gift Gold is not money, a bank deposit, a cryptocurrency, or an investment. It does not earn interest and no financial return is promised.
How Gift Gold is obtained
Eligible TCM activities may award Gift Gold. The activity must state the reward and any conditions before you participate. Availability, amounts, and eligibility can change, and no activity guarantees a reward.
- 1. Take part
Use an eligible TCM feature such as Play With Purpose or a funded Gift Forge promotion.
- 2. Meet its rules
Complete the stated activity and satisfy its eligibility, account, and verification requirements.
- 3. Receive the reward
Any awarded Gift Gold appears in your TCM reward balance for eligible platform use.
Gift Gold is different from sale proceeds
Some TCM activities may reveal or award a separate item. If a feature expressly permits it, an owner may list that item for sale to another user in USD. A listing does not guarantee a buyer, a sale price, or any earnings.
If another user purchases that separate item, the resulting sale proceeds may be eligible for payout through a supported provider, subject to identity checks, provider rules, fees, disputes, refunds, geographic availability, and TCM terms.
That process is a user-to-user sale of a separate item. It is not a sale, conversion, cash-out, or withdrawal of Gift Gold.
Using Gift Gold
Gift Forge products
Use Gift Gold where Gift Forge expressly offers it for an eligible game key, gift card, digital reward, or other platform product.
Protected giveaway entries
Gift Gold used for an entry is reserved in escrow. The giveaway terms explain when it is released or returned, including any minimum target.
Gift Gold is not available as payment for digital in-game items. Listings for those items must follow the applicable game and marketplace rules.
Balances, reversals, and support
Your activity record may show awards, uses, escrow reservations, returns, reversals, and adjustments. TCM may reverse an incorrect, duplicated, refunded, abusive, or fraud-related award. Consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded are not affected.
