__The idea__

Resistance and rarity both roll as suffixes, so they fight over the same slots. So Smith of Kitava cheats that fight for you. Tantalum Alloy ascendancy node gives +75% fire resistance for a single point, and Coal Stoker converts half of that into cold and lightning, roughly +37% each. Your gear stops needing a resistance roll, which frees every spare suffix for rarity.

The ascendancy also hands you life, regeneration and ailment immunity, so you keep real defences while wearing farm gear. That is what lets you run tier 15 maps and pinnacle bosses without much currency invested.

__Leveling__

Put stats into stun and armour break. Brink on auto attack will prime the target for a heavy stun with Boneshatter. This look takes you through the whole campaign mapping. For bosses you get Rolling Slam on first levels and swap for Shield Wall with Bleed and detonate it with Fortifying cry when you get it.

__Endgame__

On the endgame you can swap your focus towards using only shield wall and fortifying cry or shield charge. When you can get the support gems Ahn's Citadel and Kaom's Madness into Shield wall your mapping starts being smoother and for bossing you can replace Kaom for another support that gives you more damage.

I noticed that to make myself immortal on endgame the unique amulet The Defiance of Destiny (a level 56 unique Jade Amulet) that "automatically recovers 20–30% of your missing life before an enemy hit land"

The only thing that kills me is the Shade Walker mob on abyss, that thing has a dot puddle that bypass all resistances and armour so the only thing you can do is try to kill it fast or try to shield wall from range
