Would recommend for the aura beasts fast/very fast movement cuz big monkey is very fast. if your team is medium/fast or very fast movement ist becomes pretty convinient. Shroudwalker is pretty neat, blind and prepare packs to get crushes. Big monkey need extra crits everything else is just bonus but try to catch one with 3 mods.

So by default you can only have one companion at a time. The Bear from Spirit Walker is a unique case where it doesn't count towards your companion limit. There are only a few ways to get more to that limit. - Trusted Kinship Keystone by the companion cluster allowed two companions - Yriel's Fostering (available at level 55) can grant an additional companion https://poe2db.tw/us/Yriels_Fostering - And then Forgotten Warden allows you to summon another specifically from that chest piece Level 65 iirc Otherwise that sceptre is the only option for more companions. Things that are minions without the companion tag (Spectres, or Skeletal home boys) don't count to your Companion limit

Or the Keystone and Yriel's, yes. It's a Spirit Gem that you can craft after you go fight Ignaduk in the side area off the Matlan Waterways. That'll cost a flat 60 spirit before modifiers

Additionally im unsure if i was just crazy or not but when i de-equipped monkey, i regained spirit which makes me think that equipping companions also needs spirit Do I like Need more spirit to equip the boar as well? Especially if the wolf pack is 60 im gonna need a lot T-T

Unfortunately yes. Though you've also taken nodes to the right of that keystone that decreases the cost by increasing your Reservation Efficiency But that'll be a slow and sure process. You can get a lot of spirit with fairly little effort towards the endgame so have faith in your ability to attain Big Number ™
