- I just swapped back to Disciple of Varashta from Stormreaver. Mainly because of the better defenses with "The Fourth Teaching" "Sacred Rituals" and the raw stat power of having a staff with a focus through "Instruments of Power" and a free pseudo-Convalesence with "Navira's Well".
The only thing I really miss from Stormreaver is "Storm's Recollection" which made keeping infusions available for spells a lot easier. The storms from "Tempest Caller" were meh, and "Multiplying Squalls" can be replaced with the "Secrets of the Orb" passive + "Overabundance" support gem, I kept flip flopping between "Refracted Infusion" and "Constant Gale".

- My playstyle is mainly throwing up an ice wall to block mobs while I setup with Elemental Weakness / Frost Bomb / Orb Storms to fire off an Eye of Winter through them to boost it's damage and using Frost Nova / Ice Walls as filler between Eye of Winter casts. I like of Eye of Winter because of it's Diablo 2 Frost Orb vibes but it's a very busy build because of setting up for Eye of Winter over and over and over.
On trash mobs I can throw out Elemental Weakness (w/Burning Inscription to create ignited ground), Frost Bomb (which counts as chilled ground for EoW), and a Freezing Mark (w/Charged Mark to create Shocked Ground for EoW). The only other way I can boost EoW damage is with Fire Wall which is what I'm messing around with now but that's like 4 spells I have to cast to setup EoW. Maybe I just need to rewire my brain to only use 1-3 of these abilities when clearing out trash and only using more for a rare pack or boss.
