Okay so im playing monk and got my first ascendancy, im level 40 and i am just outside trial of chaos.
Ive got another character to lvl 30 meaning in total ive completed around 60 levels and feel like i know what im doing.

I really now want to start creating a well put together build but im just really confused by the 'build guides' and stats and stat-gambling and things like that.
So ive got a few questions and it would mean alot if someone well versed in monk could answer.

1) Does the item itself matter? For example when someone says 'you need these boots', im under the impression they are talking about the stats on the shown boots rather than what the boot actually is.
2) How do i read build guides, example: https://mobalytics.gg/poe-2/builds/martial-artist-monk-build-league-starter-to-endgame
Reading it in sections makes sense but then it talks about bells, charges
3) What is set1 set2 and main in the passive skill tree, ive just kinda ignored that when spending skill points.

Thanks so much
