That always sucks. I order large amounts of computers for the school and we get DOAs in every batch. Such a pain in the ass but even more so when it is your PC.

Did you try booting it with no RAM installed? Most PCs will boot to BIOS even without RAM in them. If it is stable like that then it isn't the CPU.
